Last fall, I planted winter onions. They say they grow well, they say they don't get sick, they say they come to harvest early. And they liked it so much that they decided to reward me with flowers. The entire bed will soon be in bloom. You have to be grateful for your efforts, so I dug up some of the bulbs with gratitude and baked a cake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I baked a cake for the guests, but by the time they arrived, half of it was gone. My son would even cover his eyes as he passed by so he wouldn't eat it all. And my husband said that next time he would have to bake a cake like this for each member of the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will need:<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

300 g cottage cheese<\/p>\n\n\n\n

100 g butter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 egg<\/p>\n\n\n\n

300 g Zelbukis kvietini\u0173 812C milt\u0173<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 tsp baking powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a pinch of salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a filling:<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a slice of smoked bacon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

spring onions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

salt and black peppper<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1-2 tbsp Zelbukis pasijot\u0173 rugini\u0173 milt\u0173<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 egg for brushing and sprinkling sesame seeds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve and mix with the egg and salt. Melt the butter, cool it and pour it into the cottage cheese mass. Mix the flour with baking powder and gradually add it to the cottage cheese until you get a kneadable dough. Don't be surprised if you need more or less flour, it depends on the cottage cheese. Leave the dough in the refrigerator for half an hour, while we make the filling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut the leeks into cubes and fry, when they are fried, add the chopped spring onions. I added the greens with all the small heads, white stems and flower stalks, so I added the onions in two batches. First the heads, stems, which need to be fried longer, and then the leaves. This way the thicker parts cooked better and more spring onions fit in the pan. Fry until the onions are soft. Add the flour and mix well, they will absorb the onion juice and fat and the dough will not be soaked with liquid, it will cook better, it will be more crispy. Leave to cool. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Divide the dough into two parts, one should be slightly larger. Grease a baking dish, sprinkle with flour. Roll out the larger piece of dough into a thin sheet, about 1\/2 cm thick, place it in the baking dish, add the onion filling, roll out the second part and place on top. Crimp the edges, brush with egg wash and cut in several places so that it does not swell like a balloon. You can sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for about half an hour in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, until nicely browned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
