Semolina is not only good for porridge, it can also be used in baked goods. We suggest you try an easy-to-make recipe brought back from a foreign country.
You will need:
180g Zelbukio manų kruopų
70g sugar
360g natural yogurt
110g oil
3 eggs
3 v.š. Zelbukio kvietinių 550C miltų
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
Sirupui:
240ml water
150g sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
First, make the syrup by boiling the water and sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat, cool, and squeeze in the juice of one lemon. Leave to cool further.
In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the sugar dissolves. Add the yogurt and oil, mix with a wooden spoon. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well until the mixture is smooth. Pour into a greased baking tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180C. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until the top of the cake is lightly browned.
